Notes and Postcards

Titta Ruffo, from his youth, nurtured a particular admiration for works of art, managing with time to surround himself with important works, as well as devoting much of his life to reading and studying, particularly plays, handing over to us a library of considerable value. His stubbornness in wanting to consolidate, as a self-taught man, his culture and refine his aesthetic taste led him to establish friendships outside the world of opera. Reported here from the Archive is the collection of notes and postcards that testify to his emotional ties with various personalities from the world of art, theater and culture.
