An artistic life of over thirty years lived under the banner of great success and popularity, accompanied by a dense network of professional and other relationships, spent from one end of the world to the other, represents one of the pivots in the parable of the great baritone. Reported here from the Archives is an excursus of that previously unpublished documentary material that allows us to reconstruct and fix snapshots in Titta Ruffo’s artistic experience during his various tours: such as authorizations and permits or his appointment as a knight by King Alfonso XII of Spain or his invitation to a luncheon by HRH the Prince of Monaco in 1909.
